Why do seconds not work in widgets?
iOS does not reliably refresh widgets or Live Activities every second for normal wall-clock time. Seconds is focused on the in-app experience, where seconds can update accurately while the app is open.
Why does the app use iPhone system time?
Seconds uses your iPhone system time because iOS already keeps device time synchronized through system time settings and network time updates.
How do I verify time accuracy?
Check that your iPhone has automatic date and time enabled in Settings. Seconds displays the time provided by your device.
How do I change color/background?
Open the app settings and choose your preferred display color and background style.
