GIG Income Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

GIG Income respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the GIG Income mobile app and related support pages.

2. No GIG Income Account Required

GIG Income does not require users to create a GIG Income account or register with GIG Income to use the app.

3. No Connection to Gig-Platform Accounts

GIG Income does not connect to DoorDash, Uber, Uber Eats, Amazon Flex, Instacart, Walmart Spark, Lyft, or other third-party gig-platform accounts. The app does not collect login credentials for those platforms.

4. Information Stored in the App

The app allows users to manually enter income, expenses, notes, platform names, dates, and related work records. These entries are created by the user and are used to provide tracking, history, summaries, and statistics inside the app.

5. Local Storage

Income and expense records are stored on the user’s device. GIG Income does not operate a separate server account system for storing user income or expense entries.

6. iCloud Sync

If iCloud Sync is available and enabled in the app, user data may be synchronized through the user’s private Apple iCloud account using Apple services. iCloud Sync depends on the user’s Apple ID, device settings, and iCloud availability.

7. In-App Purchases

GIG Income may offer optional paid features through Apple In-App Purchases, such as a monthly Pro subscription or a one-time lifetime Pro unlock. Purchases are processed by Apple. GIG Income does not collect or store payment card numbers.

8. Support Communications

If you contact us for support, we may receive your email address and the information you choose to include in your message. We use support communications to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, improve the app, and maintain business records.

9. Analytics and Advertising

GIG Income does not include third-party advertising. If app analytics or crash reporting tools are added in the future, this Privacy Policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated.

10. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We do not share user-entered income or expense records with advertisers or gig platforms. Information may be handled by Apple services such as iCloud and In-App Purchases according to Apple’s terms and privacy practices.

11. Data Deletion

Users can delete app data by deleting entries inside the app where available, removing the app from the device, or managing related iCloud data through Apple device and iCloud settings if iCloud Sync is enabled.

12. Children’s Privacy

GIG Income is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

13. Security

We use reasonable measures designed to protect information handled by the app and support process. However, no device, app, network, email, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
